A Bit of History

In the early 80’s, back when no one seemed to take on the idea of early stimulation, ICBB took on the challenge to prepare and introduce children as young as 12 months old to the pleasure of reading. It developed a sight-reading program for infants and was proven successful. Without utilizing any form of advertising, its rich academic program caught great attention and its students multiplied rapidly. This was the birth of ICBB.

For more than 30 years, ICBB has been a second home to children aged 1 to 4 years old, opening a world of creative possibilities while nurturing and educating young minds through its unique, dynamic early childhood education program.

ICBB continues to live up to the discriminating taste and standard of parents who seek nothing but the best for their children – a cut above the rest.

Here's How We Work

ICBB’s program uses an eclectic approach. Committed to providing students with a unique, and memorable experience, activities are creatively designed to develop cognitive, social and motor skills.

Because of its commitment to early reading, literature remains the core of the ICBB curriculum and is used as a springboard to integrate topics and concepts across all subject areas.

Our Mission

The school’s mission is to provide each child with a holistic approach to learning that strikes a balance in the development of the MIND, BODY and HEART.

We educate and nurture every child in life-affirming ways.

MIND

Children are naturally curious with absorbent minds that are susceptible to learning.

It is crucial that they are intellectually stimulated to develop their problem-solving skills, focus and attention.

ICBB carefully executes a variety of age-appropriate activities to facilitate targeted competencies and promote cognitive learning.

BODY

Movement is a natural way for children to explore and learn about their environment.

ICBB’s unique learning environment provides opportunities for children to move through active play as part of the development of their motor skills.

HEART

Social and emotional growth are equally important to the development of the complete child.

ICBB takes on the responsibility to teach children empathy, kindness, social awareness and how to become responsible members of the world.

Our Partnership With Parents

ICBB takes pride in its strong ties with parents and maintains constant open communication, allowing them to work hand in hand in the progress and development of each child.

ICBB communicates with parents through the following avenues:

  • Online Communication System
  • Parent Orientation
  • Weekly Home Notes
  • Open-Door Fridays
  • Quarterly Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Special Family Events (Family Day, Family Culminating Class Activities, etc.)
  • Occasional School Circulars
