Curriculum
Following a daily schedule provides children with routine and allows them to become well-adjusted individuals.
Language Arts
Language arts develops communication skills as it focuses on sentence construction and the correct use of grammar.
Literature
Reading develops listening and comprehension skills by allowing children a vivid and imaginative experience to predict, analyze, and recall.
Phonics
Phonics is the method of teaching children to read by correlating sounds with letters.
Maths
Math is the science of numbers and their operations. It develops logical thinking and problem solving skills and is taught using a variety of carefully planned activities.
Science
Science keeps children curious. Through science children learn to observe, question, explore, experiment, predict and solve problems.
Social Studies
Social studies encourages children to become self-reliant, responsible, and contribute to society beginning with family, the class, the community and the world.
Music and Movement
Music and movement is interrelated to other activities during the day which helps develop auditory awareness, gross motor skills and encourages the child’s creative expression.
Mandarin
The Mandarin language has gained international importance and interest. ICBB lays the introductory foundation to prepare students for further Chinese studies which allows them to become worldly, cultured and multi-lingual future world leaders.
